Gróf Buttler

Grof Butter The wine cellar was established by the Bukolyi family in 1999. In 2009 a new owner bought it, but the philosophy of wine making remained the same: to make perfect and region-bound wines with the least possible intervention.
Plantation started in April 2000, with the French and Hungarian clones selected according to soil type.
On Szarkás-tető 14 ha, on Rácz-hegy 7 ha, on Kis-Eged 1 ha was planted with a very wide range of breeds (merlot, syrah, cabernet franc and sauvignon, kekfrankos, pinot noir, kadarka, viognier).
Later, in 2003 a new plantation had started on Nagy-Eged mountain, nearly 20 ha.
