| The Degenfeld-Lindner family rejuvenated the estate in 1994. They purchased 100 ha viticultural land on Terézia hill and Mézesmál parcel in Tarcal, in the vicinity of Mád and Mezőzombor. Grape varieties: Furmint, Hárslevelű, Muscat Lunel, Zéta, Kabar and Kövérszőlő.
Following the initial investment, the establishment of a modern winery started in 1996. The former press-house, located above the wine cellar, accommodates offices, whilst the adjacent new building is being used for processing grapes and making wine.
In 1997 they purchased the former Degenfeld Palace located on the central square of Tokaj. At present the palace accommodates an elegant restaurant, wine shop, wine tasting facility in the cellar and conference rooms.
The former school building, which was built in 1872 as a result of a royal decree, was opened in 2003. The former winemaker school was transformed into the first four-start hotel of the Tokaj region, called the Gróf Degenfeld Kastélyszálló (Gróf Degenfeld Castle Hotel).
