Malatinszky

Malatinszky The Malatinszky Vineyard is one of the most popular wine cellars in the Villany Wine Region. In 1997 it was established by Csaba Malatinszky, a former sommelier in Budapest, who had traveled across many wine regions of Europe in the 1990s as a wine dealer. He works on approximately 30 hectares of land, and produces about 100 thousand bottles of wine a year. (According to his earlier statement, he would like to enlarge the property, because he deems appropriate size indispensable on the modern wine market.) He grows mainly blue grape variety (Pinot Noir, Kekfrankos, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot).
