Fesztival in the gardens of Erdőbénye 2013

Erdőbénye 2013 Fesztival in the gardens of Erdőbénye Wine and ecstasy … Bénye is an extraordinary gastro and cultural festival held at multiple locations boosted by the best wines from Tokay.

Gardens of local winemakers will be open to the public between 16 and 18 August, when not only the best wines will be available for tasting but word music and jazz concerts will also enhance the event. Visitors may listen to performances, may enjoy various exhibitions or can simply relax with submerging into the atmosphere of this picturesque Tokay village.

Instead of dishes of the usual Hungarian kitchen, local plates and specialties of the region will be offered with matching local wines in the leisurely mood of village residents. Local artists and craftsmen will offer their products at the country fair, to be held on the central square of the village.

Every scenery in this magical village is unique; walking the streets becomes a special journey, when you may come across old friends you haven’t seen for a long time, may be engaged in a chat with interesting strangers without ever feeling the pressure of the crowd. Bring your family, because Erdőbénye offers several programs for all ages, including the kids. Parents may participate in wine tasting or chat with friends while the kids can create traditional toys from corks and corn cobs or learn folk dancing.
