|On 21 April Terra Hungarica will hold the “Kekfrankos Day” (named after the characteristic Hungarian red wine called Kékfrankos) in the Gerbaud House in Budapest. Among others, a Kekfrankos Master Class will be offered with extraordinary wines and exciting lectures. Also, there will be a stroll to meet more winemakers and to taste their wines.
At the Master Class winemakers from Carpathian Basin, where the Kekfrankos is highly prized, will present locations of the most exciting vineyards. We will have the opportunity to listen to Frigyes Bott, Tamás Pók, Imre Kaló, József Szentesi, Gábor Karner, Gergely Pósta and Franz Weninger and Werner Michlits from Minklang.
After the sit-down tasting and a short interval participants will take a stroll to meet – over and above the already listed winemakers – Ráspi (Sopron), the Orsolyas (Eger), Bálint Losonci and Tamás Szecskő (Mátra), Oszkár Maurer (Szerémség) and Zsolt Sütő and Tibor Melecsky (Strekov 1075, Kürt, Slovakia).
