Hungarian Wine and Cheese Festival 2012 The last weekend of November is the traditional Day of Hungarian New Season’s Wine and Cheese. The new wine is always another promise. New season’s wines have already been introduced by November; this time we can enjoy the extraordinary – flower and fruit – fragrant and fresh taste of the New Season’s Wines, which is perfectly complemented by excellent handcrafted cheeses, many of them made with astonishing herbs and spices.

24 November

– Ceremonial Opening at 11 o’clock
– the Best New Wine Recognizing Championship of Hungary
– new wine and cheese tasting from 10am to 6pm

25 November

– wine and cheese tourism stock market in Hungary
– new wine and cheese tasting from 10am to 6pm

Location: Hungarian Museum of Agriculture
1146 Budapest, Városliget, Vajdahunyadvár
Opening hours: both days from 10am to 6pm

Festival tickets (HUF 2000/person) are available on site. Tasting of new wines and cheeses and entry to the Hungarian Agricultural Museum are included. Visitors will receive a wine glass with the Festival logo.
