Hungarian winemaker was the man of the year

Istvan Szepsy winemaker from Tokaj has been chosen to be the Man of the Year by one of the most prestigious Polish wine magazines, Magazyn Wino, issued in Warsaw. Prior to the Grand Prize Award Event, the international jury made its decision following the examination of many hundreds of wines of several foreign wine cellars. In the December, Holiday issue of the magazine, the Hungarian master is presented as the wine grower of the century, some of whose wines are ‘concerned to be the most outstanding creations of the history of Modern Age wine making in professional circles’. According to some opinions, he is the maker of the best sweet wines of the world – stands in the magazine.
The award event’s special guests were the wine growers of Tokaj Wine Region and the settlement called Mad. The wine growers of Tokaj offered that in the first month of the Hungarian presidency of the EU, they are going to give an exclusive presentation of wines in Warsaw with the ontribution of Magazyn Wino.
